Barbara Rowsey

Barbara Yvonne Blaylock Rowsey, age 81, of Lake Jackson, TX formerly of Greenville and Cleveland, passed away on Monday May 27, 2013 at her home in Lake Jackson.
She was born on April 15, 1932 to Claudie and Verna Hood Blaylock in Webb, MS. She married Grady Rowsey in 1951. They moved to Texas where Grady was stationed in the Navy until 1965, and then moved to Cleveland, where they raised their four sons before moving to Greenville for 27 years. Barbara remained in Greenville until recently moving to be near her sons in Texas. She loved being around her family and always kept peace between her four boys. She loved sports of all kinds especially Ole Miss. Mrs. Rowsey also loved her flowers always having her plants on the front porch and patio. She was a loving Mother and grandmother always enjoying her time with them. She was preceded in death by her, husband Grady and son Mack Rowsey.
Visitation will be held Saturday June 1, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 with funeral service to follow in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Delta Heights Memorial Gardens. Reverend Cecil Rhodes will officiate the service.
She is survived by 3 Sons; Mike Rowsey, of Lake Jackson, TX, Norman (Marian) Rowsey of Alvin, TX, Alan (Sharon) Rowsey of League City, TX. Two sisters; Etoyle Flurry of, Booneville, MS and Wanda Fay Tubbs of, Webb, MS. Seven grandchildren; Daniel Rowsey, Megan Rowsey, Corey Rowsey, Jenna Rowsey, Jackie Sattell, Stephanie Parra and Jacob Rowsey. Two great grandchildren; Makenzie Walenta and Baylee Parra.
Pallbearers are Norman Rowsey, Mike Rowsey, Alan Rowsey, Gary Blaylock, Ronald Blaylock and Joe Davidson.
