Betty Jean Ferri Tarsi, age 89, of Cleveland, MS, peacefully passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on March 27, 1936, in Cleveland, MS, Betty was the cherished daughter of George Ferri and Isolina Agostinelli Ferri. She graduated from Boyle High School in 1952. She dedicated 39 years of her career to Baxter Laboratories as a record keeper. On October 5, 1957, she married the love of her life, Victor Tarsi, in Cleveland, marking the beginning of a beautiful life together for 68 years.
Betty enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and visiting with family and friends. In their younger days, they enjoyed traveling together. Betty was a devoted member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church; her faith played a central role in her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Isolina Ferri. Her siblings: Mary Franceschinis, Louise Giaccaglia, Allene Bouler, Angelina Blythe, and George Ferri. Jr. Betty leaves behind her beloved husband Victor Tarsi, her daughter Kathy T. Card (Wittie). She leaves behind her beloved precious granddaughter, Kristin Card Mecha, and her husband.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church, officiated by Father Kent Bowlds. Burial will be in the New Cleveland Cemetery. The family expresses gratitude to all who have shared in her life.
Pallbearers are Jeff Giaccaglia, Johnny Capocaccia, William Quinton, Ronnie Aguzzi, Marvin Lott, Larry Bramuchi, and Chuck Williamson.
