Beulah Smith

CLEVELAND - Beulah Myers Conner Smith, age 98, of Cleveland, passed away on Monday September 16, 2013 at the Bolivar Medical Center Long Term Care.  She was born on June 20, 1915 to Lonzo and Ollie (Hall) Myers in North Carolina.    She was a former factory worker in New Orleans before moving to the Delta where she volunteered for the Habitat for Humanity. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Cleveland. Beulah was a loving sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Avis Lavern Howard and a brother Chester Myers.
 Visitation will be held Thursday 09/19/2013 from 10:00 AM until10:45 at Cleveland Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM in the New Cleveland Cemetery. Reverend Jimmy Breland will officiate the service.
 Beulah is survived by Husband of 13 years, Jerry Smith of Cleveland, MS.  Son,  A C Boyd of West Point, MS. Four sisters; Birdie Mae Boyd of Clinton, MS, Margarette Vernon of Greenville, MS, Wilma West of Meridian, MS and Myrtle McCool. She also leaves a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
