CLEVELAND - Beverly Jean "Jeannie" Rush, age 58, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday July 30, 2015 at the Regency Hospital in Jackson, MS due to complications associated with cancer.
Visitation will be held Tuesday August 4, 2015 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 PM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the North Cleveland Cemetery. Reverend Robert Haney will officiate the service.
Jeannie was born on May 04, 1957 to Edward and Marjorie (Beevers) Rush in Cleveland. She enjoyed life to the fullest and always loved spending time with her many family and friends. Jeanie was also known as a hugger; whenever you saw her she was always willing and ready to give her hugs and love to everyone.
The family wishes to give special thanks to the Staff at Providence Personal Care Home for making Jeanie's time there enjoyable.
Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Marjorie Rush.
She is survived by Two brothers, Dennis M. Rush (wife Lena) of Savannah, GA, Thomas E. Rush (wife Joyce) of Grenada, MS. sister, Carol Williams (husband Floyd) of Cleveland, MS. niece, Kelly Dye (husband Keith) of Cleveland, MS. niece, Amanda Gillis (husband Tim) of Grenada, MS. nephew, Mark Rush (wife Heather) of Grenada, MS. niece, Mallory Byrd (husband Davis) of Starkville, MS.Special friends and caregivers Amy Wells and Adren and Elizabeth Smith. She also leaves behind several great nieces and nephews and a host of other friends and relatives.
Pallbearers are Keith Dye, Hunter Dye, Mark Rush, Tim Gillis, Davis Byrd and Adren Smith.
Honorary pallbearers are Jason Williams and Ronnie Beevers.
