Billy Wayne Hamilton age 61 of Pace, MS passed away November 1, 2023 in Rosedale, MS.

Billy was born in Cleveland, MS September 29, 1962 to Benny Lewis Hamilton and Mavis Aline Hill Hamilton. The family moved to Texas shortly after he was born and remained there till about 20 years ago when they relocated to the Pace, MS area. Billy graduated from McKinney Texas High School in 1982. He was a former Emergency Medical Technician but mainly worked in the convenience stores business as a clerk before his health made him retire. In his younger years Billy loved to play baseball and was very good at it. He was best known however as an excellent dancer. Billy will be missed by his many family members and friends.

He is survived by his parents Benny Lewis and Mavis Aline Hamilton of Pace, MS, children; Tiffany Wheeler (Chris) of Howe, Texas, Jonathan Hamilton of Texas, and Mallory Trejo (Ben) of Ector, TX, brothers; Benny Lewis Hamilton, Jr. of Merigold, MS, Steven Hamilton (Jennifer) of Pace, MS, Jason Lewis Hamilton of Pace, MS, grandchildren; Joshua, Courtney, Preston, Alyssa Moore, Alexis Hamilton, Tristan Hamilton, Ariana Hamilton, Ayden, Christian, and Cheyenne Trejo, great grandchildren; Zayne, Zaliegha and, Kingston and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Friday November 10, 2023 at Cleveland Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Crockett Kennedy will officiate the service.

Pallbearers will be Steven Hamilton, Benny Hamilton, Jr., Jason Hamilton, and Scottie Hamilton
