Bobbie Charlene Kendrick

Ms. Bobbie Charlene Donahoe Kendrick age 91 of Cleveland, MS passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. 

Visitation will be held Monday, April 18, 2022, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Cleveland Funeral Home. Celebration of Life funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Jimmy Breland will officiate the services.

Charlene was born September 18, 1930, to Cecil and Gaynell Donahoe in Indianola, MS. She graduated from Sunflower Agriculture High School in Moorhead, MS. She attended sunflower Junior College (MDCC) and Delta State College. Charlene was married to Alvin "Bob" Kendrick. She was a hard worker all of her life, which started at Nugent and Pullen Agency in Jackson, MS. After moving to Cleveland, she worked at the Bolivar Insurance Agency for 30 years. After her retirement, she returned to work at Atmos Entergy. She loved MDCC and loved to help with the alumni activities. She also loved her church, First Baptist Church, and served in various capacities for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Gaynell Donahoe, husband Alvin "Bob" Kendrick, and a brother James Gary Marquis.

Charlene is survived by her daughter Tammy Little (Randy), of Merigold, MS, son, Mike Kendrick (Sherrie) of Phoenix, AZ, 4 grandchildren, Megan Cunningham (Kyle) of Merigold, MS, Kaley Joel (John) of Cleveland, MS, Bryan Kendrick (Robin) of McLeansville, NC, and Neal Kendrick (Kinsey) of Phoenix, AZ, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are John Randall Cunningham, Jace Joel, John Joel, Kyle Cunningham, Steve Marquis, Marq Marquis, and Mike Little.
