MERIGOLD- Ferral Bruce Collier, Jr. age 42 of Merigold, passed away Saturday July 20, 2013 in Merigold. Visitation will be held Monday July 22, 2013 from 6-8PM at Cleveland Funeral Home. Graveside funeral service will be 10:00AM Tuesday at Merigold Cemetery . The Reverend James Wilkerson will officiate the service. Bruce was born October 22, 1970 in Cleveland , to Ferral Bruce and Janie Sue Bishop Collier. He graduated from Cleveland High School in 1988. Bruce was formerly employed with Roy Collins Construction, Lazyboy Incorporated and Hiter Farms. He was a member of the Cleveland Moose Lodge and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his mother, grandparents; R.W. and Thelma Collier and Homer and Willow Jean Bishop. Bruce is survived by his father Ferral Bruce (Wanda) Collier, Sr. of Merigold, MS. Sister; Lisa Peterson Braun of Kennesaw , GA. He also leaves numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and a host of friends. Pallbearers will be Jason Shaw, Allen Camp, Matthew Smith, Patrick Smith, Steve Taylor and Dan Taylor. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Garner, B J Tatum, Jimmy Utz, Tom Smith, Willie Kent, Stanley Jones and Tommy Dial. Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
