Carl White

CLEVELAND - Carl White, age 72, of Cleveland, MS passed away on Saturday, November 03, 2018 at his home. 
 
Carl was born on December 05, 1945 to Lonzo and Louise (Brassfield) White in Ruleville, MS.  He attended Ruleville Schools. Carl was a United States Army Veteran and spent 7 years in the Army National Guard. He married Janice Sue McGovern on October 20, 1967.  He was employed for several years at Baxter’s laboratory, he worked with Denton's Milk for over 20 years and also R C Cola for a number of years before retirement.  Carl was a member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church for 35 years. He loved to fish, play pool and most importantly loved spending time with and taking care of his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonzo and Louise White, a brother, Russell White and a sister, Louise White Jolly.

Carl leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 50 years, Janice McGovern White of Cleveland, MS. Daughters; Stephanie White (Tommy) Longale of Cleveland, MS and Tammy White (Eddie) Burton of Cleveland, MS. Brothers; Sonny (Viola) White of Carrollton, MS and Lonzo (Tabitha) White, Jr. of Carrollton, MS. Sister, Betty White Hicks of Vicksburg, MS. Grandchildren; Madison Longale, Peyton Longale (Conner) Carpenter, Colby Burton, Eli Burton and Luke Burton. 

 Memorials in Carl's memory may be made to Catholic Charities or the Helping Hands of Cleveland, MS.

There will be a private Memorial Service at a later date.
