Carolyn Pettit Little

 Mrs. Carolyn Pettit Little, 89, of Cleveland MS, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2024, at Bolivar Medical Center. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Cleveland Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. The interment will be in the North Cleveland Cemetery. Reverend Bob Hill will officiate the services.

 Carolyn was born on December 24, 1934, to Mr. William Edward “Bud” Pettit and Mrs. Willie Mae Haley Pettit. She held a few different titles, but her most treasured occupation was homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. On March 31, 1956, she married Markes Little in Charleston, MS. They were married for 61 years, before his passing in 2018. Nana and PawPaw could most always be found cheering on their children or grandchildren in all their endeavors, cheering on their Atlanta Braves, or watching Fox News daily.

 She is preceded in death by her husband, Markes Little; her parents, Bud Pettit and Willie Mae Haley Pettit; her brothers Kenneth, Wayne, Junior, and Graham Bonner; and her sisters, Martha and Mary Ann. 

Carolyn is survived by her sons, Randy (Tammy), and Mike (Suzy); grandchildren Megan Cunningham (Kyle), Kaley Joel (John), Miranda Bryant (Johnny), and Kolby Little (Rock); and great-grandchildren, Colton Brett Cunningham, Alli Kyle Cunningham, John Randall Cunningham, Alden Kate Cunningham, Jace Joel, Jax Joel, Koralie Bryant, John Upton Bryant, Graham Bryant, and Waelyn Bullock. 

Pallbearers will be John Randall Cunningham, Kyle Cunningham, John Joel, Johnny Bryant, Rock Morris, Charles McIntyre, Larry Howard, and Jace Joel. Honorary pallbearers will be Jax Joel, Upton Bryant, and Graham Bryant.
