Cloyce Tedford

Cloyce Singleton Tedford, age 73, of Scott formerly of Cleveland, passed on Tuesday March 26, 2013 at her home.
 
Visitation will be held Thursday March 28, 2013 from 12:30 PM to1:45 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland. Graveside Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM in the North Cleveland Cemetery.  Reverend Larry Braswell will officiate the service.
 
She was born on August 5, 1939 to Bill and Lizzie (Morris) Singleton in Eupora, MS.  Mrs. Cloyce was a Eupora native having lived there the first few years of her life before moving to the Delta. She attended schools in Cleveland and graduated from Cleveland High School. She married John Tedford on March 15, 1957 in Cleveland. She and her family owned and operated the Handi-Mart Store and John Tedford Auto Sales in Merigold for many years. She was also a former Cleveland State Bank employee. Mrs. Tedford was member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother O B Singleton.
She is survived by husband of 56 years, John Tedford of Scott, MS.  Daughter, Phyllis Tedford (Knox) Purnell of Southaven, MS. Son, David Tedford of Cleveland, MS.  Brother, Ralph Singleton of Southaven, MS.  3 Grandchildren, Parker Noblin, Jessica Tedford and  Presley Purnell. She also leaves a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Bernie Jones, Parker Noblin, Joey Tedford, Danny Tedford, Mark Singleton and Ed Phillips.
