Cynthia Dianne White

Cynthia White, a devoted mother and grandmother, passed away on July 14, 2023, in her hometown of Cleveland, Mississippi. She was born on July 16, 1957, in Cleveland to Bobby McCarty and Frances McClure McCarty. Cynthia cherished her role as a mother and grandmother and was also a loving dog mom to her beloved companion Buddy.

Cynthia's passion for family was evident in every aspect of her life. She relished the time spent with her loved ones, creating cherished memories that will be forever treasured. Playing cards, watching crime shows on television, and reading books were activities that Cynthia eagerly engaged in during family gatherings. The beach and the casino held a special place in her heart and were two of her favorite places to unwind.

Her memory will forever be etched in the hearts of her surviving family members and friends. Cynthia is survived by her daughters Michelle Hopkins of Cleveland, Mississippi, and Emily Compston Calcote (Brad) of Wiggins, Mississippi. Her son Thomas Pennett resides in Memphis, Tennessee. Cynthia's sisters Boba Dean (Dino) of Boyle, Mississippi, and Vicki Compston (Sam) of Wiggins, Mississippi will dearly miss their beloved sister.

Cynthia also leaves behind her adoring grandchildren Shelby McCleese and Ethan Hopkins of Cleveland, Mississippi. The joy of Cynthia's life was further enriched by the presence of her great-grandchild Twyla Grace McCleese.

A visitation service in honor of Cynthia White will take place at the Cleveland Funeral Home on July 19, 2023. The visitation will start at 12:00 PM and conclude at 1:00 PM. Subsequently, a memorial service will commence at 1:00 PM and conclude at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In this time of grief and remembrance, let us celebrate the life lived by Cynthia White. Her unwavering love for family and her joyful spirit will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her loved ones find solace in the fond memories they shared with Cynthia throughout the years.
