Fisher family: I was heartbroken to learn of Doug's passing. So many of my childhood memories include him & Alice & all you children. Such fun times! I will never forget how sweet Doug was to my mother after my father died. He would take her to the casino in Greenville & let her play to her heart's content. I remember telling him that she had a 10pm curfew! We laughed so much over that! Please know that all of you are in my heart & prayers at this difficult time.

Dearest Renee,Angie and Ricky,
My heart aches for all of you in the loss of your precious Daddy. I have such wonderful memories of him and your sweet Mama. Doug was the first person to get to me when we lost Mama and he stayed right there with me until Lynda and her family got there. He was such a wonderful neighbor and friend! He loved all of you so much. May God give you peace and comfort.
