Earl Dykes

Earl Dykes, 80, of Cleveland, MS, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Delta Health and Rehabilitation. Born on May 25, 1946, in Quitman County, MS, to James Andrew Dykes and Nettie Thacker Dykes, Earl grew up in Quitman County before moving to Cleveland in the 1970s.

He dedicated 30 years to Circle H Farms, embracing a love for work, the outdoors, and fishing. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, James Andrew Dykes & Nettie Thacker Dykes; his sister Pearl Fuller, and his brother Billy Ray Dykes.

He is survived by his brothers William Dykes of Tunica, MS, Danny Dykes (Janice) of Cleveland, Eugene Dykes (Judy) of Brookhaven, MS, his sister Joann Ogea (Bill Scruggs) of Yellville, AR, and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM  at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Quitman County.
