Eddie Bishop

Eddie Leroy Bishop age 73 of Rena Lara, MS passed away Monday October 30, 3023 at his home in Rena Lara., MS.

Eddie was born September 23, 1950, to Victor Leroy Bishop and Dorothy Elizabeth Teasley Bishop in Hattiesburg, MS. He was in the construction business most of his life.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents Victor and Dorothy Bishop, brothers, Robert Wayne Bishop, Thomas Ray Bishop, John Mark Bishop, and a sister Shirley Jean Seaton.

He is survived by his son Eddie Bishop, Jr. of Columbus, MS, daughter, Theresa Bishop Hargett of Charleston, MS, brother William C. Bishop (Lisa) of Cleveland, MS, sister, Vickie Fischer Davis (Mack) of Batesville, MS, grandson, Anthony Bishop, two additional grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.

A graveside memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Oakhurst Cemetery in Clarksdale, MS.
