Eddie Therrell

Eddie Therrell, age 56, of Cleveland, passed away on Wednesday September 12, 2012 at his home.  He was born on November 09, 1955 to Van and Gladys (Compton) Therrell in Cleveland, MS.  He moved to Greenville, MS in 1976 to manage the Sonic Restaurant met and married Susan Orr. In 1977 they moved back to Cleveland and Eddie worked for Nehi Bottling for several years and Cecil's Package Store for 11years. He was currently employed by Terminix where he had been a faithful employee for the past 17 years. Eddie was a member of the First Baptist Church Boyle and had served on numerous church committees. He was a family man, enjoying spending time with his children and grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two nieces; Lori McDonald and LaDonna McCammon. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 08:00 PM Friday at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland.  Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM Saturday September 15, 2012 at the First Baptist Church Boyle in Boyle, MS.  Burial will follow in the Delta Heights Memorial Gardens. Reverend Clarence Edwards will officiate the service.   He is survived by Daughters, Christy Therrell Clark of Coldwater, MS, Rachel Therrell Parish of Boyle, MS. Sisters, Martha Holland of Cleveland, MS, Linda Brown of Cleveland, MS;   Brother, James Therrell of Cleveland, MS and former spouse, Susan Orr Therrell of Boyle, MS.  Grandchildren; Matthew Bernard, Emilee Clark, Haylee Clark and Alexis Parish and two nieces. Pallbearers are James Therrell, Marvin Brown, Russell Steadman, Beau Parish, Gary Bernard and Chuck Miller. Honorary pallbearers are the Deacons of First Baptist Church Boyle. Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 or First Baptist Church Boyle P O Box 218 Boyle, MS 38730. Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
