Gale Durand Campbell

BOYLE - Gale Durand Campbell, age 67, of Boyle, passed away on Sunday August 23, 2015 at his home.
Visitation will be held Wednesday August 26, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Thursday August 27, 2015 in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Delta Heights Memorial Gardens. Reverend Chad Hopkins will officiate the service.
Gale was born on May 30, 1948 to Tommy and Annie (Hopkins) Campbell in Cleveland, MS. He graduated Cleveland high school in 1967. Gale had previously lived in Wyoming and Colorado before returning to the Delta. Gale worked for Brown and Sons for some 24 years. He attended Interstate Baptist church. Gale loved to garden and help people. He enjoyed helping put on fishing rodeo's for children. He was a member of the Cleveland Moose Lodge. Gale was a cowboy at heart; always enjoying wearing his cowboy hat and doing the two-step.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Tommy Ezell and Annie Ruth Campbell and a son Brian Campbell.
He is survived by Son, Barry and wife Tonya Campbell of Corinth, MS. Daughter, Monica Lynn Campbell of Lusk, WY. Sister, Betty Jean and husband Tommy Nichols of Cleveland, MS. Cousin, Charles Campbell of Cleveland, MS. Cousin, Ricky Campbell of Cleveland, MS. Aunt, Ruth Campbell of Cleveland, MS. 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Neal Campbell, Blake Campbell, Ricky Campbell, Barry Campbell, Tommy Nichols and Bradley Parmely.
