Harold E. Campbell, Sr. age 63, of Indianola, died on Tuesday March 02, 2010 at his home following a lengthy illness. He was born on October 28, 1946 to Ernest and Ernestine (Bowlin) Campbell. Mr. Campbell graduated from Drew high School in 1965 and from Mississippi Delta Community College in 1967. He married Kay Rogers on October 29, 1972 on the Sunflower Plantation together they moved to Indianola and opened the Western Sporting Good and Appliances, for 37 years he and his family labored with this business. Mr. Campbell was a former Mississippi Army National Guardsman. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Indianola. Mr. Campbell was an avid ham radio operator. His family says he was a loving husband son and father. Visitation will be held Thursday March 4, 2010 6:00 PM ~ 08:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland. Funeral Services will be held Friday March 5, 2010 11:00 AM at the First Church of the Nazarene in Cleveland, MS. Burial will follow at North Cleveland Cemetery. The Rev. Casey "Buddy" Smith will officiate the service. He is survived by Wife, Kay Rogers Campbell of Indianola, MS. Son, Harold Campbell, Jr.and wife Zaylah of Cleveland, MS. Father and Mother, Ernest and Ernestine Campbell of Indianola, MS. 2 Grandsons, Hayden Kitching and Camron Kitching of Cleveland, MS. Pall-bearers are Kenny Clemmons, Jordan Clemmons, Bradley Britt, Mack Bradshaw, Jay Gamberini, John Engstrom, Greg White and David Kimbriel. Honorary pall-bearers are Leroy Bowlin, Charles Bowlin, Rock Bowlin Will Wood, Jimmy Bowlin, Danny Barfield and Robert Givens Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital P.O.
