Harold Lopez

Harold Lopez, age 76, formerly of Cleveland, MS, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at his home in Tupelo, Ms.

 

Visitation will be held Tuesday January 2, 2024 from 12:00pm till 1:00pm at Cleveland Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00pm. Burial will be held in New Cleveland Cemetery. Rev. Greg Chamblee will officiate the services.

 

Harold  was born November 18, 1947, in Cleveland, MS to Walter Eugene Lopez, and Mae Beck Lopez. He graduated from Cleveland High School in 1965 and then went to attend Delta State University. Howard  was a security guard at Vita Foam in Tupelo, Ms up until his retirement in 1998. Howard enjoyed playing in the band "21st Century" for a numerous of years as their drummer, he also enjoyed, fast cars, classic cars, loved to collect collectibles, and loved to attend his Class o f 1965 reunions, and seeing his friends on Facebook.

 

Harold is preceded in death by his parents Walter Eugene Lopez, and Mae Beck Lopez.

 

Harold  is survived by  his son, Thomas Lopez, and his four dog companions Sugar, Katie, Kaci, and Rowdy, and his cat companion Dash.

Pallbearers will be Matt Turner,  Corey Johansen, Ryan Evans, Corey Cogbill, and Thomas Lopez.

 

Memorials may be made to Lebonheur Children's Hospital.

 

Cleveland Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
