Hilda Heeren

Hilda Eloise Carroll Heeren, age 77, of Cleveland, died Friday January 08, 2010 at the Bolivar County Medical Center. She was born on July 06, 1932 to E. C. and Irene (Partridge) Carroll in Louisiana. She married Chester Powell in 1954 and in 1969 she married Gerald Heeren. Mrs. Heeren managed the Colony Apartments for 14 years and then she was a greeter and fabric associate for Wal-Mart for 14 years before her retirement. Mrs. Heeren was a talented seamstress. She loved to sew dolls for her friends and loved ones. She was of the Nazarene faith. Her family says she was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Heeren. Visitation will be held Sunday 1/10/2010 from 2:00 PM ~4:00 PM at Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland. Funeral Services will be held Monday 1/11/2010 at 2:00 PM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Merigold Cemetery. She is survived by Daughter, Sandra P. Bolden of Cleveland, MS. Son, Greg Powell of Cleveland, MS. Sister, Jimmie McDaniel of Houston, MS. 6 Grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Pallbearers are George Williams, Trapper Bolden, Randy Bolden, Jr., Adam Powell, James Lunford and John William Ray.
