Hilda Horne

Hilda Lee Horne, age 54, of Cleveland, died Friday January 22, 2010 at the Bolivar County Medical Center. She was born on June 05, 1955 to Charles and Thelma (Allen) Smith in Cleveland, MS. Hilda attended the Cleveland Schools. She married Billy Ray Horne on May 28, 1977. She was formerly employed by several manufacturers, Baxter's, Color Tile and Ruleville Manufacturing. Hilda attended the Church of God of Prophecy, and was an avid BINGO player. Her family says she was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother who was always giving of herself. Visitation will be held Sunday 1/24/2010 4:00 PM ~ 06:00 PM at Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland. Funeral Services will be held Monday 01/25/2010 10:00 AM at Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Delta Heights Memorial Gardens. Bishop Wilburn Brock will officiate the services. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson William Seth Gordon. She is survived by Husband, Billy Ray Horne of Cleveland, MS. Son, B J Horne of Boyle, MS. Daughter, Kimberly Horne of Cleveland, MS. Daughter, Crystal Gordon of Shaw, MS. Sister, Tobey Sherwood of Cleveland, MS. Sister, Sandra Thompson of Canton, MS. Sister, Patsey Russell of Cleveland, MS. Brother, Charles Smith of Rosedale, MS. Seven grandchildren Rilee, Preston, Reanne, Ethan and Blaze Horne, Caitlin Gordon. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Nathan Woodward, Michael Dill, Jason Thompson, Justin Smith, Danny Horne and Jard Benjamin Horne. Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
