James Weeks,

SHAW - James "Jimmy" Harold Weeks, age 72, of Shaw, MS, died on Monday July 23, 2012 at the Greenwood Leflore Hospital.  He was born on May 11, 1940 to Leroy and Leila(Tadlock) Weeks.  He was married to Sally  Roncali for 40 plus years.  He attended Shaw schools & Hollandale schools. He was a construction worker & a farmer for many years. He was a diesel Mechanic from 1980-1989. He attended Mt. Zion Church of God. Mr. Weeks was an avid outdoorsman with a great love for hunting and fishing. He loved being in nature. He was a hardworking family oriented man, loving all of his children and grandchildren. Mr. Weeks enjoyed spending time with all of his family. Mr. Weeks was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, daughter, Nelda Weeks,Brothers Sammy Weeks & Thomas Weeks and sister Carolyn Woods. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 24th from 6 PM until 8 PM at Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS.  Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 25th at 10:00 AM in the Cleveland Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Shaw Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Jolly will officiate. He is survived by  2 Sons, Harold Weeks, JR. of Belmont, MS and Sherman Weeks of Shaw, MS; 1  Brother, Billy Joe Weeks of Shaw, MS.  1 Granddaughter, Kimberly Weeks of Red Bay, AL.  2 Grandsons, Russell Leland Cummings, of Belmont, MS and Zackary Ray Cummings, Jr. of Red Bay, AL;  Great Granddaughter, Gracie Scruggs of Red Bay, AL,  Great Grandson, Braxton Cummings of Red Bay, AL, numerous nieces & nephews.
