Distance kept us from being in touch very often, but we truly appreciate the loving person that Jan was to us as our neighbor on Deering St.
She was an inspiring individual with the most incredible work ethic and a true model for the concept of unconditional love.
Go rest high, Jan, my vision of Valerie waiting there at the pearly gates to receive you is one of joy. I know she is so happy to have your company so that you can watch over Jesse and Rob together. See you in the by and by, sweetie. Much love

Dear Rob and Family,
I am SO sorry about your sweet and wonderful wife. We had lots of fun singing in the choir together. She was very special to me and I know she is singing to Val in heaven now.
May GOD Bless you and shine his light upon your face and give you strength and peace from here on out.
Love you always,

To the family, my sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. As you cope with your loss, may you be comforted by the "Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort" (2 Cor 1:3) that one day, "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." (John 5:28, 29) May the words from God's word, the Bible give you comfort now and real hope for the future. My deepest sympathy.
