Jeff Lee White, III, age 68, of Cleveland, MS, passed away on August 5, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, TN.

Born on October 19, 1957, in Ruleville, MS, Jeff was the son of Jeff White, II and Betty Joyce Mullins White. A graduate of North Sunflower Academy, he pursued ministerial studies in Kosciusko, MS. Jeff proudly served in the United States Army in Germany. Following his service, he worked for the Mississippi Department of Corrections for 13 years. He married Cynthia Margaret Brown on September 15, 1989, in Parchman, MS, and later became a long-haul truck driver. Jeff also coached park commission baseball and was known for his love of phone conversations. He was a devoted member of the Cleveland Church of Christ.

Jeff is predeceased by his parents and is survived by his wife of 36 years, Cynthia Margaret White. He leaves behind daughter Ket McAtee (Sid) of Boyle, MS, and son James Edward McLain of Hollywood, Florida; sister Lynn Smith (Chris) of Florence, MS; brother-in-law Bobby Brown of Philadelphia, MS; and beloved grandchildren Sydney McAtee and Landyn McAtee. 

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Cleveland Funeral Home.
