Jerry Wayne Leopard, age 55, of Cleveland , died on Wednesday February 16, 2011 at the Bolivar Medical Center. He was born on July 11, 1955 to Earl and Bernice(White) Leopard in Benoit, MS. Jerry was a life long Delta resident. He had work for Rob Yeager and Roger Hill Farms and was a former City of Little Rock employee. He attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Boyle, MS.He was an avid sportsman and domino player. He enjoyed listening to country and Gospel music. He was a loving brother and never met a person he didn't love.He was preceded in death by his parents, sister,Betty Lou Vanderford and two brothers Earl Leopard, Jr and Jule Leopard.The family will receive friend from 12:00noon until funeral service at 2:00PM Friday February 18, 2011 at Cleveland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the North Cleveland Cemetery. Reverend Wayne Sistrunk will officiate the services. Jerry is survived by Son, Wesley Leopard of Grenada, MS. Daughter, Gloria L. Williamson of Charleston, MS. Six Sisters, Louise Howard of Little Rock, AR, Earlene Brooks of Lake Village, AR, Marie Forreser of Pine Bluff, AR, Rosie Ray of Skene, MS, Dorothy Jean Johnson of Stewart, MS, and Brenda Irby of Cleveland, MS. Two Brother; R G Leopard of Skene, MS and J T Leopard of Shaw, MS. 5 Grandchildren.Pall-bearers are Wesley Leopard, J T Leopard, Jr, Jule Leopard, Jr., R G Leopard, Jr., Shane Huskey and Jerry Irby. Honorary pall-bearers are Billy Ray Dykes, Richard Taylor, John Hollings and B J Irby.Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
