Joe Baker

SHAW - Joe Baker, age 75, of the Interstate Community, died on Saturday January 24, 2009 at the Bolivar County Medical Center. He was born on November 19, 1933 to Alvie and Addie(Gresham) Baker in Bolivar County, MS. He married Patricia Ann Allio Baker June of 1954. He was a self employed carpenter. Mr. Baker was a member of Interstate Baptist church and the Shaw Lions club. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. Visitation will be held Tuesday 01/27/2009 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 01/28/2009 02:00 PM at Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS. Burial will be at the Interstate Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Haney will officiate the serices Mr Baker was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Ann Allio Baker, a son; Joe Frank Baker, his parents, four brothers; Elmer Baker, Peck Baker, Johnny Baker,Ruben Baker and one sister; Marie Berry. He is survived by Daughter, Kathi and husband Johnny Ferracci of Suffolk, VA. Daughter, Vicki Baker and Ed Curry of Shaw, MS. Son, Clay and wife Sandra Baker of Cleveland, MS. Sister, Pauline Mayo of Cleveland, MS. Sister, Mildred Mayo of Shaw, MS. 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Mike Baker, Jason Moody, Edward Curry, Scott Mitcham, Henery Kelley and John Kelley. Honorary Pallbearers are Lucas Baker and Johnny Ferracci. Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
