LINN- Joseph Brantley Jones, age 64, of Linn, passed away on Wednesday October 07, 2015 at his home.
Joseph was born on March 20, 1951 to Gregory Ames and Carmon (Holcomb) Jones in Memphis, TN. He moved to the Linn Community at an early age and attended the Linn and Ruleville Schools. Joseph was a United States Navy Veteran. He loved to fish and care for his canine friends.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Gregory Jones, Jr.
Visitation will be held Saturday October 10, 2015 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland. Graveside Funeral Services will be at 11:30 AM at North Cleveland Cemetery. Reverend Greg Chamblee will officiate the service.
He is survived by his sister Debra J. Yawn and husband Elvin of Clarksdale, MS. Nephew Bradley Yawn of Hattiesburg, MS, Niece Stephanie and husband Jeff Lusk of Cleveland. six great nieces and nephews Brandon Yawn, Lilly Yawn, Reagan Yawn, Katelyn Lusk, Lacey Lusk and Laney Lusk.
Pallbearers are Elvin Yawn, Brad Yawn, Jeff Lusk and Chance Robison.
