Junior Brown, a cherished member of the Cleveland community, departed this life on June 24, 2025, in Boyle, Mississippi, at the age of 59. Born on December 12, 1965, in Cleveland, Mississippi, Junior spent his formative years in his hometown, where he developed a deep love for the outdoors and adventure.
Those who knew Junior remember him fondly for his passion for riding motorcycles, often traversing the country with the wind at his back. In addition to his adventurous spirit, he found joy in hunting and fishing, hobbies that brought him closer to nature and gave him many cherished memories.
Junior is survived by his beloved daughter, Maghan (Heath) Ashmore of Cleveland, Mississippi. He also leaves behind his siblings, including his brother Jerry Walker (Carolyn) of Cleveland, Mississippi, and sisters Diana Brown of Beverly Hills, California, Jackie (Pete) Davis of Merigold, Mississippi. Junior was a proud grandfather to his grandchildren, Garner Ashmore and Gray Ashmore, both of whom were a source of great joy and pride in his life. He is remembered with love and respect by his family and friends.
Junior was predeceased by his parents, Edwin L. Brown Sr. and Vivian Juanita Brown, who instilled in him the values of courage and kindness that he carried throughout his life.
A memorial gathering to honor Junior's life and legacy will take place on July 3, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home, located at 3463 West Highway 8, Cleveland, Mississippi 38732. This gathering will provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together to celebrate the life of a man who brought warmth and adventure to those around him. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
