RULEVILLE - Katie Annette Banks Rogers Warner, age 72, of Ruleville, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday October 15, 2014 after a struggle with dementia. She was born on February 15, 1942 to Gilsie and Opal (Huffman) Banks in Calhoun City, MS. In 1958, she married Alfred Rogers and they shared 30 years together until Alfred's death in 1988. Together they were devoted parents and their life together was a testimony to their children, family and friends.
In 1993 Annette married Jim Warner and spent 21 years together, during this time they enjoyed work in their church, The Church of Faith, Where she had been a Sunday school teacher. She loved to work in the community and take mission trips and hunting trips to land in the hills. Annette was one of ten children and was known as the Mother figure to her younger siblings after the passing of her father at a young age. Possessing a true servant's heart, Annette faithfully cared for family and friends. Her daily mission was to always bring a smile to others in her work and community.
Annette retired in 2007 from North Sunflower Hospital where she had served as dietary manager for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilsie and Opal Banks, husband, Alfred Rogers, brothers, Herman and Alex Banks, and sister Barbara Sue Counts.

Visitation will be held Saturday 10/18/2014 from 12:00 PM to 10/18/2014 02:00 PM at the Church of Faith Hwy 61 North Cleveland, MS. Funeral Services will follow at 02:00 PM in the Church of Faith Sanctuary. Burial will be at the Lehrton Cemetery. Reverends Mike Chamness, Chad Hopkins and Rob Banks will officiate the service.

Annette is survived by son William Alfred (Bubba) Rogers and wife Linay of Chattanooga, TN, Daughters Beverly Rogers Skeen and husband Joe of Minter City, MS, Tenna Rogers Kent and Husband Barry of Doddsville, MS., Cheryl Rogers (Tim) of Saginaw, TX and step-daughter Doris W. Parrish of Glen Allen, MS. 10 Grandchildren; Joey, Wade and Colby Skeen, Casey Annette Kent Johnson, Ryan and Anna Christian Kent, Lee and Justin Hicks, Augusta and Liam Rogers. She also leaves 15 Great grandchildren and a host a nieces and nephews.
