Kay Langston Pyron age 70 of Dewey Oklahoma formerly of Cleveland, MS passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at her home in Dewey Oklahoma.
Kay was born October 22, 1952, to Willis Alton Langston and Lucie Jewell Henderson Langston in Cleveland, MS Kay grew up in Cleveland and attended Cleveland Schools, She married Otis Pyron on February 14, 1991. Kay was a lifelong resident of Cleveland until moving to be with family in Dewey OK. She enjoyed spending time with family especially her grandchildren, mowing her yard and making crafts. She was a member of First Baptist Church Boyle, MS.
She was preceded in death by her parents Willis Alton Langston and Lucie Jewell Henderson Langston Tubbs, husband Otis Pyron, son, Jerry Clifton Coleman, II, sisters, Bonnie Thompson, Judy Ford, and JoAnn McDaniel and a brother Willis "Bill" Langston, Jr. and son-in-law Robert Goff.
Kay is survived by her daughters; Brenda Goff of Dewey, Oklahoma, Linda Harper (James) of Dennis, MS, and Sherry Eddins of Cleveland, MS, 7 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, her fur baby Daisy and five additional fur babies.
Visitation will be held Tuesday April 4, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Cleveland Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Lehrton Cemetery in Ruleville, MS. Reverend Clarence Edwards will officiate the services.
Pallbearers are John Allen, Harold Kendall, Chase Raymond, Nick Carroll, Steve Horne Bo Coleman, and Justin Ulrich. Honorary pallbearers are Christopher Thornburg and Rawley Dunn.
