Leanora McClain

BOYLE - Leanora Elizabeth McClain, age 64, of Boyle, died on Monday July 19, 2010. She was born on March 11, 1946 to Earnest and Velma Mae (Tidwell) Vanhorn, Sr. in Cordova Alabama. Mrs. McClain moved to Mississippi Delta as a teenager where she met and married the late Carlton Junior McClain on June 2, 1962 in Cleveland. She was formerly employed by Ludlow's Textile Mill in Indianola for ten years. She was a loving sister, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters; Mary Lou Vanhorn and Betty Keeton and a brother Earnest Eugene Vanhorn, Jr. Visitation will be held from Friday July 23, 12:00 noon until funeral service at 2:00PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland. Burial will follow at the North Cleveland Cemetery. The Rev. Frank Caswell will officiate the service. She is survived by, two sons Carl (Margaret) McClain of Boyle, MS and Rodger (Karen) McClain of Boyle, MS. Two Brothers; Phillip Vanhorn of Greenville and Joe Vanhorn of Leland. Sister; Rachel Dycus of Tallulah, LA. 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jeff King, John Buck, Justin McClain, David Burke, Myron Fly and Arnold Keeton. Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
