CLEVELAND - Lisa Lynn Horne Shaffer, age 60, of Cleveland, MS, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019, at the Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland, MS.
She was born on November 27, 1959, to Adron and Dorothy Taylor  Horne in Jackson TN. Lisa and her family moved to Cleveland in the 1970s where she graduated from Cleveland High School in 1977. She also graduated from LPN School at Mississippi Delta Community College.   She married James Dale Shaffer, Jr. on April 19, 1979, in Cleveland. Lisa devoted her life to taking care of the elderly. She retired from Delta Health and Rehabilitation in 2018. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them and especially her grandchildren.
 The family will receive friends for a time of fellowship Thursday, December 19, 2019, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland.

Lisa is survived by her husband of 38 years, James Dale Shaffer of Cleveland, MS.  Father, Adron Horne of Tupelo, MS.  Mother, Dorothy Taylor Horne of Tupelo, MS.  Son, Taylor (Melinda) Shaffer of Tupelo, MS.  and two grandchildren, Elijah, Emma Faith Shaffer.
