Lisa Weeks Tackett

Lisa Weeks Tackett, age 61 a beloved member of the community, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Azalea Commons Assisted Living in Cleveland, Mississippi. She was born on Thursday, August  30, 1962, to Earl and Tommie Hudspeth Weeks in Cleveland MS.

Lisa's passion for life extended beyond her professional endeavors. An avid gardener and a frequent visitor to flea markets and yard sales, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished moments spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter. Lisa's love for dancing brought light and happiness to those around her.

In her educational journey, Lisa attended Cleveland schools where she laid the foundation for a lifetime of learning and growth. Lisa dedicated herself to various roles during her career, including positions at Catos, Kenwins, Dress for Less, and Super Value. After 20 years of loyal service, she retired, leaving a lasting impact on those she worked with.

Lisa was preceded in death by her Grandmother Margaret Hudspeth, Father Earl Weeks, Sister Cindy Ray, Grandson Gavin Farmer, and great-grandson Teigan Pace. She is survived by her Daughter Ashley Farmer (James) of Rienzi, MS; Brother Donnie Weeks; Grandchildren Alyssa (Austin) Pace, Kinleigh Farmer, Layna Farmer; and great-granddaughter Adaline Pace. Her Mother Tommie Booker of Merigold, MS also mourns her loss. Additionally, Lisa leaves behind a multitude of nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

Services to honor and celebrate Lisa's life will be held on Monday, July 29th, 2024. A visitation will take place at Cleveland Funeral Home from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM followed by a Graveside Service at North Cleveland Cemetery from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Rev. Clarence Edwards will officiate the services.
