CLEVELAND - Lois Naomi Williams Bain, age 85, of Cleveland, passed away on Friday, November 01, 2013 at the Allegiance Specialty Hospital in Greenville. She was born on December 23, 1927 to Grady Thomas and Leola Belle (Taylor) Williams in Guin, Alabama. She married Aubra Wayne Bain, Sr. on April 19, 1947 in Guin, Alabama. She was homemaker for many years until she started work at Baxter Laboratory, where she spent 12 years until her retirement. Lois was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church Boyle. She loved to crochet, quilt and cook. She was always full of laughter. She was the life of family events. Lois was a caregiver to many children over the years. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held Sunday November 3, 2013 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday 11/04/2013 at Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be 3:00 PM Monday 11/04/2013 at the Carson Ridge Cemetery in Ethel, MS. Reverends Clarence Edwards and Robert Haney will officiate the service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband ,Aubra Wayne Bain, Sr. Son, Billy Wayne Bain, two daughters, Marie Self and Judy Lovell.
Lois is survived by Son, Raymond (Cheryl) Bain of Harlem, GA. Daughter, Carolyn Self of Grenada, MS. Son, Thomas (Cindy) Bain of Longview, TX. Son, Wayne (Phyliss) Bain II of Grenada, MS. Sister, Myra Minor of Hamilton, AL. Sister, Dorothy Brinkman of Belview, AR. Sister, Doris Melvin of Aubrendale, FL. Brother, Donald Williams of Lincoln, NE. Brother, Doyle Williams of Davenport, FL. Brother, Dan Williams of , NM. 12 grandchildren and 11 Great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Brian Self, Health Self, Thomas Bain, Caleb Bain, Matthew Palacious and Jessie Palacious. Honorary pallbearers are Austin Self, Derrick Self, Tyler Bain, Andy Weeks, John McGovern, Brian Welch and Brandon Palacious.
