SHELBY - Louis Warren Jones, age 69, of Shelby, MS, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at the Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 4, 2019, from 10:00 AM to11:00 AM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland MS.  Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will be at the Lehrton Cemetery. Reverend Bill Kirkpatrick will officiate the services.

Louis was born on June 30, 1949, to Billy and Melba (Bishop) Jones in Cleveland, MS.   He grew up in the Linn Community and graduated from Linn High School. Growing up Louis helped his dad on the farm. He later became a mechanic for Ford Tractors. Louis spent a few years in Louisiana before moving back to Utica, MS. He had been back in the Cleveland area since 2004. Louis's hobbies included hunting, fishing and working on and fixing just about anything. 

He is survived by a brother, Tommy (Linda) Jones of Horn Lake, MS.  Sister-in-Law, Rebecca Chris Jones of Spring, TX.  Aunt and caregiver, Bobbie McClelland of Cleveland, MS. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.
