Lula Mae Tenhet Waggoner

RULEVILLE - Lula Mae Tenhet Waggoner, age 94, of Boyle, MS died on Monday June 08, 2015 at the Walter B Crook Nursing Home.
Visitation will be held Thursday June, 11, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday June 12, 2015 in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Drew Cemetery. Reverend Bob Hill and Reverend Fish Robinson will officiate the services.

Mrs. Waggoner was born on May 15, 1921 Sunflower County to Henry Almore and Dovie Jane (Horton) Tenhet. She graduated high school from Boyle, MS in 1940 and on November 30, 1940 she married Roscoe Waggoner in Shaw, MS. Lula worked for Hill Cleaners for many years and later worked for Baxter Travenol, retiring after 28 years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church Boyle and the BALL Club.
Mrs. Waggoner enjoyed taking care of her yard and her prized daylilies, Her other gifts included working with her hands making quilts, which she won 1st place with a quilt of her own creation, crocheting and her cruel work. She also enjoyed playing dominoes with her friends. Lula was a wonderful cook, mother and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents; H.A. and Dovie Tenhet, Husbands; Roscoe Waggoner, Louis P. Baker and James Hood, two brothers; Talmedge Tenhet and Shed Tenhet, two sisters; Neola Mullins and Ibbie Hunter.

Mrs. Waggoner is survived by her children; Twila Vassar of Boyle, Ms and Ronnie (Ellen) Waggoner of Kamiah, Idaho. Nephews; Marcie Mullins and Eddie Hunter. Grandchildren, Todd (Pam) Bouler, Cindy Lopez, Nathan (Kim) Waggoner, and Amy (John) Hannah. Great grandchildren; Cody Lopez, Amber Lopez, Ryan Henderson, Blane Bouler, Kylie Lauren and Bryson Waggoner.

Pallbearers are Todd Bouler, Cody Lopez, Nathan Waggoner, Frank Michael, Tim Redwine, and Marcie Mullins. Honorary pallbearers are Henry Mosco, Joe McKnight, Jay Bradley and Johnathan Waggoner.
