Mable Louise Peacock

Newbern TN

Mable Louise Williams Peacock, a beloved resident of Newbern, TN, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2023, at West Tennessee Health Care in Jackson. She was 75 years old.

Born on March 1, 1948, in Cleveland, MS, Louise was the cherished daughter of Lenox Lee Williams and Ella Lou Weaver Williams. She received her education at Cleveland Schools and embarked on a life journey filled with love and adventure when she married the love of her life, David Peacock, at the tender age of 16. Together, they created a beautiful life together that took them across various communities in Mississippi, Illinois, and Tennessee.

During her working years, Louise dedicated herself to providing exceptional service to others. She shared her warm smile and compassionate nature as an employee at Walmart locations in Grenada, MS, and Dyersburg, TN. Her dedication and commitment left a lasting impression on those she served.

Above all else, Louise's greatest joy in life came from being a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her selfless love knew no bounds as she provided unwavering support and guidance to her two daughters: Rhonda Lynn Peacock of Newbern and Patricia Ann Harris of Newbern. Her sistership was cherished deeply by her brothers Allen Williams (Vicki) of Cleveland, MS, and Kenny Williams (Leslie) of Boyle, MS.

Louise's legacy lives on through the lives she touched as a loving grandmother to Stacy Harris-Grijalva (Jon), Kacy Harris, and Shelbilyn Peacock, and great-grandmother to Ember Grijalva. The priceless bond she shared with her family created countless cherished memories that will forever be held close to their hearts.

In addition to her immediate family members mentioned above, Louise also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins whose lives were enriched by her presence.

Louise was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Lenox and Ella Lou Williams, as well as her adoring husband, David. Their reunion in the hereafter serves as a testament to the love that transcends all boundaries.
