Margaret Hopper

DOUGLASVILLE , GA - Margaret Mullins Hopper, age 81, died on Tuesday June 26, 2012 at her home in Georgia . Visitation will be held Saturday June 30, 2012 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland .  Funeral Services will immediately follow at 02:00 PM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will be at the New Cleveland Cemetery . Pastor Lloyd Latham will officiate. Ms. Hopper was born on August 04, 1930 to Carl and Gertrude (Green) Mullins in Cleveland , MS . She was a life long Delta resident before moving to Georgia a few years ago. She married George W Hopper, Jr. on December 15, 1945 in Gunnison, MS. Ms. Hopper was a former member of Boyle Baptist Church and a current member of New Genesis Baptist Church .  Ms. Hopper was a loving mother and grandmother who devoted her life to raising her 10 children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, brothers; Calvin T. Mullins, Charles Mullins and James V. Mullins and her sisters, Mabel E. McClaflin, Virginia Davis and Lucille Laney.   She is survived by Three Daughters; Ann Griffis of Olive Branch, MS, Teresa Woljevach of Douglasville, GA and Rhonda Price of Villa Rica, GA; Seven Sons; George Hopper, III of Hernando, MS, Gary Hopper of Douglasville, GA,  Charles Hopper, Bobby Hopper and Roy Hopper all of Oakland, MS, Chad Hopper of Douglasville, GA, Robert Hopper of Hattiesburg, MS;  and a brother, Leroy "Donnie" Mullins of  Mobile, AL.  15 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 5 great-great Grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jeff Wheeler, Ray Steen, John L Steen, Hunter Otts, Jerry King & Dewey Price. Honorary pallbearer will be Steve Weaver.
