Margaret Medders

Margaret Evelyn Medders, age 72, of the Moon Lake Community, died on Tuesday August 14, 2012 at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, AR. Margaret was born on April 30, 1940 to Claude and Margaret (Lancaster) Clements, II. She was married to the late James Derwood Medders.  Ms. Medders was a Marks Mississippi native and attended school in Marks. She was a homemaker and loved her family dearly. She loved to garden and plant and take care of her flowers, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and was the backbone of the Medders family. Ms. Medders was a long time member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cleveland.    Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00PM Saturday August 18, 2012 at North Cleveland Cemetery in Cleveland. Reverend Bob Hill will officiate the service. Ms. Medders was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Derwood Medders, son Donnie Medders and a sister Rachel Lavoie. Step-children Jimmy and Buddy (Lori) Medders. She is survived by Daughter, Melissa M. (Anthony) Myles of Clarksdale, MS.  Son, Randy (Kim) Medders of Cleveland, MS.  Daughter, Debra (Johnny) Jones of Cleveland, MS.  Son, Bo (Dorothy) Medders of Houston, MS.  Daughter, Myra Black of Moonlake, MS.  Sister, May (Bobby) Wolf of Moonlake, MS.  Sister, Dorothy (Larry) Higginbotham of Tyronza, AR.  Sister, Geneva (David) Snyder of Williford, AR. And brother Claude (Debbie) Clements III of Oakland, TN. Step-Children Charlotte (Roy) Bradley of Oxford, MS, Bobby and late wife Vicki Medders of Anahiem, CA, Mickey (Chris) Medders of Oregon and Step-daughter-in law Linda Medders of Cleveland, MS Cleveland Funeral Home is in Charge of arrangements.
