Michael Eugene Knight age 48 of Sunflower MS passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at his home in Sunflower.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Cleveland Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Indianola City Cemetery in Indianola MS. Reverend Tim Howell will officiate the service.
Michael was born December 9, 1974, to James Michael Knight and Darlene Doster Myers in Jackson, MS. He grew up in Sunflower MS, and graduated from Indianola Academy in 1993, he also attended Mississippi Delta Community College and Northwest Community College. Michael worked at Hannah's Grocery and was a welder for Quality Steel in Cleveland, MS. Michael was known to be a loving, caring, and kind-hearted person.
He was preceded in death by his father James Michael Knight, sister Heather Michelle Knight, cousin Nichole Horne Reynolds, grandparents; Dennis Doster, Beatrice Downs Doster, Doyle Eugene Knight, and Rachel Knight.
Michael is survived by his mother Darlene Doster Myers of Sunflower, MS, daughter Gracie Knight of Tallulah, LA, sister, Hannah Michelle Edwards of Pelahatchie, MS, aunt Sheila Doster Horne of Sunflower, MS; Jimmy Horne of Sunflower, MS, and several cousins.
Pallbearers will be Jeffery Hodges, Bud Hodges, Reagan Edwards, Allan Harrell, Justin Jeffcoat.
Cleveland Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
