Michael Stokes

Michael Dewayne Stokes, age 33, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday May 01, 2011 in Leake County, MS.  He was born on July 04, 1977 to James and Linda (Roberson) Stokes, Jr. in Bolivar County.   Michael attended Ruleville Schools and had worked in construction for several years.  Visitation will be held Thursday May 5, 2011from 6:00 PM until 08:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland.  Funeral Services will be held Friday May 6, 2011 11:00 AM at the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be follow at the Linn Methodist Church Cemetery. Reverend James McNally will officiate the services. He is survived by Parents, James and Linda Roberson Stokes, Jr. of Cleveland, MS.  Brother, James Allen Stokes of Indianola, MS.  Sister; Wendy Smith of Cleveland, MS.  Sister, Laura Stokes of Cleveland, MS.  Maternal Grandmother, Thelma Roberson of Cleveland, MS. He also survived by 6 nieces and 4 nephews. Pall-bearers will be Thomas Mann, Jerry Ross, Jr., John Roberson, Jr., Wade Roberson, Phillip Jaco, and Charles Stokes. Honorary Pall-bearers are Brian Roberson, Ryan Carpenter, Toby Smith and David Horn, Jr. Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
