Millard W. Morse, age 64, of Skene, died on Friday December 27, 2013 at his residence.

Visitation will be held Thursday 01/02/2014 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland . Memorial services will follow at 2:00 PM at Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Keith Bowlen will officiate the service.
Millard was born on June 26, 1949 to Joseph and Dorothy (Pollock) Morse in Hurricane, Mississippi . He attended grade school in Pontotoc County before moving to Cleveland where he attended Cleveland High School . He was a former truck driver for Lampard's Wholesale Meat. He also worked at Elmore's Service station and was currently working with Stanford Farms. Millard enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his beloved family. He lived a simple life and it never took much to please him but he was always willing to help his friends and family. He was a member of Skene Baptist Church .
He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Pullock Morse.
Millard is survived by Father; Joseph Morse of Sand Springs, MS; Son, Michael (Stacy) Morse of Cleveland, MS; Son, Billy Morse of Cleveland, MS; Daughter, Rhonda Morse of Carthage, MS; Son, Joseph Morse of Cleveland, MS; Sister, Lisa Shurpert of Sand Springs, MS. Granddaughters, Ashley Morse of Cleveland, MS, Allison Morse of Cleveland, MS, and Heather Morse of Cleveland, MS; Grandson, Taylor Morse of Cleveland, MS. Great grandchildren; William, Saide, Eli and Asher all of Cleveland . Three nieces; April, Ashley and Anna, and a host of other friends and relatives.
