Myra Black

Myra Lewellyn Black, Age 63, of Cleveland, MS, passed away Friday, September 30, 2022, at her home in Cleveland, MS.

A Graveside Service will be held at North Cleveland Cemetery in Cleveland, Mississippi at 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 4, 2022. Jarrett Jamieson will officiate.

Myra was born January 6, 1959, to Billy Ray Lewellyn and Margaret Evelyn Clements in Marks, MS. Myra worked at various places from casinos to Delta Discount in Clarksdale MS. Myra spent the past 8 years working at T.J.’s Wine and Spirits in Cleveland MS.  Myra cared for her family, and loved animals.  Her pride and joy was her son, Kenny.

She was preceded in death by her parents Billy Ray Lewellyn and Margaret Evelyn Clements, Step Father James Medders Sr., Brothers Donnie Medders, Davis Medders, and James Medders Jr.

Myra is survived by her son Kenny Black of Cleveland, MS; Sisters,  Melissa Smith of Tupelo, MS, Debbie Jones of Cleveland, MS, and Charlotte Bradley of Oxford, MS; Brothers Bo Medders of West Point, MS, Randy Medders of Cleveland, MS, Mike Medders of Hillsboro, OR, and Bob Medders of Anaheim, CA. She also leaves aunts, uncles, and a host of nieces, and nephews to cherish her memory.

Pallbearers are Bo Medders, Johnny Jones, Randy Medders, Billy Smith, Ericka Criddle, and Theresa Medders.
