Paul Kevin "Goob" Greer

SPRING HILL FL- Paul Kevin "Goob" Greer age 50 of Spring Hill Florida passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at the Oak Hill Medical Center in Spring Hill, Florida.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 PM at Cleveland Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the North Cleveland Cemetery. Reverend Clarence Edwards will officiate the services.
Kevin was born October 31, 1971, to Hollie S. "H.S". and Syble Milan Greer in Cleveland, MS. He graduated from Cleveland High School in 1991. Goob, as he was affectionately known, after high school worked with Frank Beach Flooring. His passion was in painting. His painting abilities were considered to be some of the best in the area. He also had worked with H & H Packaging in Merigold for several years before moving to Southaven, MS to work with Smurfit-Stone in Tennessee. He and his life companion Dana moved to Spring Hill, Florida seven years ago, where Goob was employed with his best friend Jason Kyker with Earth Friendly Properties and Maintenance. Goob loved going fishing with son Brent and good buddy Dan as well as quality time with Brent playing golf.
Kevin was preceded in death by his sister, Sheila Carol Greer and extended family member Dan Nystrand.
Pallbearers are Charles Brewer, Travis Greer, Stanley Perry, Frank Brown, Kenny Beevers, and Jason Kyker. Honorary pallbearers are Donnie Brackin, Robert Usery.

He is survived by his life companion Dana Nystrand of Spring Hill Florida, Son, Brentley James Greer of Spring Hill FL, daughter, Marayla Nystrand Polischeck (Brett) of Hernando, MS, mother and father, H. S. and Syble Greer of Cleveland, MS, sister, Sherry Usery (Robert) of Merigold, MS, brother, Travis Greer of Cleveland, MS, nephews, Joshua Ascherl, Cody Ascherl, and nieces, Taylor Usery, Madison Claire Greer, extended family member, Pamella Nystrand of Spring Hill FL., he also leaves behind his four-legged best friend Maverick.
