Peggy Salley White, age 60, of Cleveland, died on Thursday January 10, 2013 at the Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville.
Visitation will be held Saturday January 12, 2013 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland. Funeral services will follow in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. James Wilkerson will officiate the service.
She was born on November 21, 1952 to Clarence Earn and Willie Mae (Gilbert) Salley in Cleveland. Peggy graduated from Cleveland High School. She was a former factory worker for several of the local factories. Peggy loved the family gatherings and was always joking and happy "The life of the party". She also loved to listen to country music. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tom B White, sisters, Mary Lee Salley and Anna Frances McClain and a brother Jerry Dewayne Salley.
She is survived by Sisters, Annie Lee Miller of Chattanooga, TN and Patricia Ann Salley Johnson of Greenville, MS. Brothers, Clarence Earn Salley, Jr. of Merigold, MS and Joe Thomas Salley of Carthage, MS. She also leaves a host of nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers are Jason Lee, David Johnson, Allen Johnson, Scotty Salley, Rance Salley and Charles McClain.
