MERIGOLD - Sandra Irene Powell Bolden, age 60, of Merigold, passed away on Thursday August 13, 2015 at her home.
Visitation will be held Saturday August 15, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 PM in the Cleveland Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be at the Merigold Cemetery. Reverend James McNally Will officiate the services.
Sandra was born on June 04, 1955 to Chester and Hilda (Herrin) Powell on the Sunflower Plantation. She had lived in several locations before settling back in the Cleveland area. Sandra managed the Airport Grocery for 11 years before becoming a Certified Master Gardener for ACE Hardware.
Sandra loved life and was full of happiness. She loved to garden and teach others to garden. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Sandra loved her children and grandchildren; they were the love of her life right next to her love for God. Throughout her life Sandra's faith never wavered always trusting and believing in His goodness.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; Chester and Hilda Powell and son George Williams, Jr.
She is survived by Daughter, Angela Williams Bowling of Latonia, KY. Son, Randy Bolden, Jr. of Cleveland, MS. Son, Trapper Bolden of Ruleville, MS. Brother, Greg Powell of Cleveland, MS. 10 grandchildren, Kyleigh Bolden, Wheeler Bolden, Faith Ann Bolden, Gracen Williams, Skyler Williams, Chloe Mosley, Jake Williams, Anna Rico, Brandy Rico and Noah Bowling.
Pallbearers are Alen Swain, Vincent Delahoussaye, Donald Trapper, Jonathan Vance, Joey Dycus and Earnest Veasley.
