**In Loving Memory of Sandra Sherron Boyd**

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra Sherron Boyd, age 79, who departed this life on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at her home in Enid, Mississippi.

Sandra graced this world on November 1, 1945, as the beloved daughter of James Sherron and Frances Larue Jumper Sherron in Cleveland, Mississippi. A proud graduate of the Class of 1964 from Cleveland High School, she pursued further education at Draughons Business College in Jackson, Mississippi, striving for excellence in all her endeavors. On September 28, 1973, she united in marriage with her devoted husband, Merrell Boyd, beginning a beautiful partnership that would span over five decades.

Sandra's professional journey was marked by dedication and service, beginning with her roles at Continental Trailways in Jackson and subsequently at the Methodist Rehabilitation and Baxter Laboratories in Cleveland. Her most fulfilling chapter unfolded during her distinguished 25-year tenure as an Administrative Assistant at Delta State University, where she touched many lives with her warmth and professionalism.

After her well-deserved retirement, Sandra embraced life with joy and vigor, spending quality time fishing alongside her beloved husband, Merrell, cruising with her dear sister, Linda, and lavishing love on her cherished Chihuahuas and playful kittens. Her fervent spirit was perhaps most vividly expressed in her unwavering support for her Ole Miss Rebels, a testament to her passionate heart. A  member of the First Baptist Church in Cleveland and also attended Morrison Chapel Baptist Church, Sandra's faith was a cornerstone of her life.

She is now reunited with her parents, James and Larue Sherron, and her dear brothers: John Wayne, Bobby James, and Kenneth Lamar Sherron. However, her legacy endures through her loving husband, Merrell Boyd of Enid; her son Lee Boyd (Rhonda) of Enid; her beloved grandchildren, Adam Boyd of Columbia, Mississippi, and Brittni McKetta (Kevin) of Montgomery, Texas; as well as her treasured great-granddaughters, Myla and Madi McKetta of Montgomery, Texas. Also mourning her loss is her adored sister, Linda Sherron Smith (George) of Madison, Mississippi, along with a multitude of nieces and nephews who will forever treasure her memory. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to Lisa Hall Newman for her friendship and care for Sandra.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Sandra's remarkable life during visitation on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Cleveland Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will commence at 12:00 PM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Bob Hill officiating. Following the service, Sandra will be laid to rest in the North Cleveland Cemetery.

Honoring her memory as pallbearers are her dear nephews, Keith Lofton and Kevin Lofton, along with great-nephews Cody Flint and Zach Flint; extended family members Wallace Boyd and Marcus Wayne Sherron will also serve. The honorary pallbearers include Bobby Sherron, Jr., Adam Boyd, and Hunter Lofton, Bryce Lofton, and Christian Smith.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, The Gideons International, or any charity of the donor's choice.
