Selma Elizabeth (Beth) Carson 50 of Sunflower, MS died Wednesday January 13, 2010 at her residence. Graveside services are Saturday January 16, 2010 11:00AM at North Cleveland Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday 9:00AM~10:45 at Cleveland Funeral Home. The Rev. Phil Wilkinson will officiate the service. Beth was born September 29, 1959 in Memphis, Tn, raised in Greenville, MS and graduated from Greenville High School and Mississippi Delta Community College. She was a former social worker for the Arnold Avenue Nursing Home in Greenville. Beth was a member of First Baptist Church in Greenville. Survivors include her husband Russell Carson of Sunflower,MS, mother Glenna Powell Maxwell and step-father Tom Maxwell. father,W.A Hollinger and step-mother Jayne Hollinger of Eustis, FL, Daughter Glenna Walters of Smyrna, TN, 3 Sons; Casey Thompson of MS, John Ingram of Greenville, MS, Benjamin Ingram of Vaiden, MS. 2 Sisters Debbie Moore of McKinney, TX, and Lois Lee Harrison of LaGrange, GA a brother Russ Hollinger of Glenn Carbon, IL, MS and 5 grandchildren. Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
