Shirley Daniel

CLEVELAND - Shirley Ann Watson Daniel, age 75, of Cleveland, passed away at her home on Tuesday September 27, 2011.  Shirley was born on March 12, 1936 to Dell and Geneva (McMinn) Watson. Shirley was born in Ackerman and graduated Ackerman High School. She was married to the late Rev. James "Jimmy" William Daniel, Sr. Shirley was a retired secretary for Community Action in Montgomery, Al where she had spent over 25 years of her life assisting the people of her community.  Her hobbies included reading and being an Elvis fan. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Visitation will be held from Friday 09/30/2011 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland.  Funeral Services will follow at 2:00PM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Steve Huber will officiate the services. She is survived by Son, Jim Daniel of Montgomery, AL.  Son, Eddie (Linda) Daniel of Cleveland, MS.  Son, John Daniel of Montgomery, AL. Sister, Bobbie Sullins of Long View, TX. Brother-in-law, Frankie Daniel of Columbus, MS.  Sister-in-law, Bobbie Gray of Prattville, AL.  Sister-in-law, Mary Hunnicutt of Collierville, TN.  Four grandchildren David, Whitney, Emily and Brandon Daniel. Honorary pallbearers are Bobby Holder, Jeff Isaacks, Hunter Doty, Gene McCollum, Brian McCune and Nick Palacios. Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
