Stephen Prentiss Witt

LEXINGTON, TN - Stephen Prentiss Witt, age 28, of Lexington, TN, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 in Clarksdale, MS. He was born on February 15, 1988 to David and Linda (Witt) Kirkland in Jackson, MS. Stephen was a Cleveland High School graduate. He worked in the construction business for several years. His hobbies included fishing, spending time with his children, shopping and also had formerly loved to play football and baseball.
Stephen is preceded in death by grandparents; Sarah Hurst, Mary Sanders and Ralph Kirkland.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland. Celebration of life service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Robert Haney will officiate the service.
Stephen is survived by his Mother & father, Linda and Doug Farmer of Lexington, TN. Biological father, David Kirkland of Gulf Port, MS. Son, Zach Witt of Lexington, TN. Son, Colton Witt of Cleveland, MS. Daughter, Gina Witt of Lexington, TN. Sister, Sara Tatum of Lexington, TN. Brother, David Kirkland of Drew, MS. Nieces, Matty Tatum and Daylan Kirkland, Nephews, Tyler & Caleb Tatum.
Honorary pallbearers are; Joey Dycus, Daniel Staples, Elton "Buddy "Cobb, Daniel Lara and John "Noodles" Ferguson.
