Teddy UtzCLEVELAND - Teddy Utz, age 64, of Cleveland , died Saturday June 30, 2012 at his home. He was born on August 13, 1947 to Benjamin and Aggie Redden) Utz in Lyon , MS . Teddy attended schools in Shelby . He had worked for Christmas Flying Service as a plane loader, he also worked for Sydney Cook Drilling Company for 20 years and before his retirement he was employed by Irrigation Equipment in Indianola. Teddy loved to hunt and fish, he enjoyed taking young people on fishing trips. He was a very generous man always willing to help others. He was a family man, always making sure his wife and daughter were well provided for. Teddy was preceded in death by his daughter Judy Utz, brothers; John Utz, Charlie Fred Utz, Jason Utz, Sam Utz, Gus Utz , sisters; Fannie Turner, Mary Turner and Barbara Ann Jones Williford. Visitation will be held 9:00AM Thursday July 5, 2012 AM to 10:00 AM at the Cleveland Funeral Home in Cleveland . Memorial Services will follow at 10:00 AM in the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. He is survived by Wife of 35 years, Sue Story Utz of Cleveland , MS . Daughter, Angel Marie Beach of Phoenix , AZ. Brother, Jimmy Utz of Boyle , MS . Brother, Freddie Utz of Cleveland, MS. Brother, Bill Utz of, AL . Sister, Irene Topper of Rena Lara, MS. Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Teddy, you will be missed as a brother in law. I wish I could have been there with you at the end but I know you were taken care of and are now free of pain. Teresa and I will make sure Sue is taken care of and help her the best we can through the pain of losing you. I will never forget our great fishing trip and all the catfish we caught. Rest in Peace and listen to a little Jones.
